About Angelique Westerfield
Angelique is a media professional with eight years of professional experience in media relations, broadcast radio, film production, and media education.

In the area of radio broadcast, Angelique has held positions as a Correspondent and Producer of The Urban Business Roundtable – a 30-minute weekly broadcast exploring insights from financial experts, business leadership, political leadership, and academia. Angelique also conceived and is currently the executive producer of the radio program, African Diaspora Today hosted by Dr. Carol Adams (President & CEO of the DuSable Museum of African American History). African Diaspora Today airs Saturdays, from 2pm to 4pm (CST) on Chicago radio station WVON am 1690. The program is designed to discuss, learn, and gain meaningful insights regarding political, economic, and cultural culture topics related to the African Diaspora. 

Angelique is also a published journalist specifically writing in the areas of arts & culture, business, and health. Publications include The Chicago Defender, MEA Magazine, and Afrique.
